Do we continue life in HEAVEN for EVER and what would we do if that happened?

OR do we continue live in HELL for EVER suffering because we all sinned?

This is probably the hardest question in the world to answer but I want to know what you think will happen to us?

Woops clicked off screen and pressed enter instead of binge a paragraph...

Santa Clause is believed by millions of kids, the majority. He has no evidence supporting him or against him. However, you don't believe in him. See what I mean?

Okay, I get where you're coming from (I love saying that) but a good deal more adults believe in a God than believe in Santa Clause.

So? Why does age matter?

Well, the older you are, the longer you've been in school and the more life experience you have. Granted, this is where you see many conversions to atheism, but then again vise versa.

Yep. Many atheists tend to be older. So why don't you believe in Santa Clause? There is a decent amount of old foke who are atheists.

So why don't you believe in Santa Clause?

Who says I don't? I'm not risking presents under the tree by abandoning a belief that costs me nothing Just like I don't risk eternal ****ation by abandoning a religion that costs me nothing!

Great. Now are you wearing garlic and do you have a silver bullet on hand? Vampires and werewolves are believed by many older folks in less developed arias. And, after all, the belief doesn't cost you anything right? And were is your lucky rabbit's foot? Cost you only a few cents... So, do you have all these things?

Now, I don't get hurt by not wearing garlic, because I haven't gotten bitten, I leave my silver bullets at home but the werewolves don't close in. The one time I told my parents Santa wasn't real, my Christmas was awful. Was this just my parents screwing with me? Probably. But why risk it?

Why risk not wearing garlic? You could be jumped by a vampire at any time. Why don't you have your silver bullets? A werewolf could attack at any time. Why not wear your tinfoil hat? Aliens can take over your brain at any moment... After all, you lose nothing from holding these beliefs right?

What I meant was, I haven't used the bullets, garlic, etc, because when I went without them I wasn't harmed.

Well I have gone without the belief in any sort of deity and have not gotten harmed... What is your point?

But why risk it?

Ah yes, Pascal's wager. Really it's harmless to abide by your religion. However how do you know that your religion is the right one? If you are truly only practicing to avoid ****ation then why aren't you like the guy from The Mummy who wore every holy medallion ever made around his neck?

You see, for your logic to work it must assume that your particular practice is correct. What happens if the Muslims have it right? Then you spend your whole life as a Catholic only to end up in hell anyway. Wouldn't you rather just follow the evidence?

See, that's part of what drove me to atheism. I have an (sometimes unhealthy) addiction to being right, and if I can't prove what I'm saying then I can't legitimately say that I'm right. Kind of a crappy deal, I know.

What is my point? *scrolls*

*Ahemn* Vampires are fictional.

Wait that's not right....

Well my point is that the reason belief in God is different than belief in Santa Clause is because more adults believe in God than Santa. Then the wheels fell off the metaphorical topic train.

Why? Plenty of adults believe in them. You can't prove they don't exist.

So lets say another religion was most followed, lets say it was Scientology, would you believe it instead?

My comment on avoiding Hell was a bit of a hyperbole. I practice because I was raised Catholic and I go to a Catholic school; no lies. My schools have not helped me in the least defend my faith so I had to do all the discovering for myself, and arming myself with logic that makes sense at least to me, I would be inclined to believe it. What I'm saying is if I had been raised Muslim, I might be Muslim still. But simply because Catholicism was my own bored journey of self-discovery, It's what makes the most sense to me.

Plenty of adults believe in them.

Sorry that was a pitiful attempt at humor.
