How can you possibly defend a book that has more contradictions than George W Bush juniors war cabinet.

I'm sorry for the double post but I just saw this and I have to say that this is perhaps the greatest comparison ever, and I agree.

Eight? I only have 5 and one that only hints at them. How do you have 8?

I was pretty nerdy with Harry Potter for a while and they offer up way more than just the novels. There are third-party books, etc.

Honestly, I think it should be a bumper sticker.

Considering how many translations the Bible has gone through, the material that was snipped from certain books and only sometimes thrown into others, the different interpretations that different denominations have chosen to work with and adapt... The Bible is by no means 'erfect' - it's a seriously fractionalized text with only some of the points agreed upon by all Bibles.

Oh and let us not forget the Romans who destroyed roughly 300 books or so depicting Jesus as a normal man.

It's funny how Christianity barely survived in the Roman Empire. But then again they were pretty tolerant later and it gained momentum with the poor. It's pretty much resembles a sin function and continues like that for a while up and down. It's funny that once someone I think Pliny the younger referred to Christianity as, "The infection of this superstition has spread" in a letter to Emperor Trajan.

I'd buy one! In fact, a few years ago, my uncle in Austin had a store and website called Unemployed Democrats. They sold so much of the Bushisms and even some of their own creative shirts. Their best shirt:

I never really got into Cafepress. I'm an etsy kinda guy myself. One or two of my friends have stores there and it's fun to browse. And you also have Regretsy to mock Etsy (I won't link to regretsy of course due to some content not suitable for minors but I would recommend you google it if you want).

Religion is ancient. Humans didn't have the intelligence that the present does.

I wouldn't say they were less intelligent just less knowledgeable.

humans created religion. even if you believe in it you know it is still created by people not the thing it is based on.
