this is it i just saw this on t.v, and it sickened me. They're fascists, and they think that we should die if we don't cut carbon emissions. I mean, cutting emissions is great, and I think everyone should, but this is just taking it over the edge.

Personally I found it silly, but it's just an advertisement...

It was a funny little satirical advertisement, however I really disagree with the whole 'cut carbon emissions' thing. Firstly, our rate of emissions is slowing as alternate, more cost effective fuels are used, and as mass transit is more and more available and convenient. Also, not sure if anyone out there has thought of this, but if you REALLY want to reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere.... start gardening, plant trees, halt deforestation. Plants breathe CO2. Lots of plants = greedy consumers driving gas guzzling vehicles with little to no detrimental effect on the environment. Oh, and the ground and oceans soak up CO2 as well and that passes on to other life forms as nutrition which they need to survive. Personally I'd rather have more trees than be required to walk to work twice a week...

Wow well i think you need to get a sense of humor, i laughed all the way through that. It shows what may happen in the futre if we don't cut emmisions people will die, I don't belive in that crap but its still getting a very funny message across. No pressure ;P

interesting fact here that a certain type of algae in the ocean provides more oxygen than trees do. that means that when trees release the CO2 at death they are polluting more then the algae.

I am not an environmentalist, but I'd say that the Industrial Age was probably the worst thing for the dang environment. And MrWalker is correct. Our emissions are reducing with technology.

I live in Texas. In Texas you HAVE TO DRIVE. Everything is so far apart. There is no walking. HA! It'd take me an hour to get to work. And I start work at 6:30.

So, instead of asking the CUSTOMERS to fix the problem, our government needs to stuff it in their mouth and provide a better transit system.

Symbolism and metaphorical perpetuation for the win is all I gotta say. Loved the video! Made me chuckle a bit.

In an honest perspective, how we are doing "green" things isn't very productive at all. I would contribute more to the cause, besides planting many trees in my woods, if there were more effective ways to cut down on said problems to our environment, besides being nit-picky about how we go about our daily lives.
