bassically in short. some painter decided to paint a political painting of jesus getting a blowjob from another man.
the state acccepted it into the museum and now everybody including children can see it.
im against it completley.
number 1: its pornography and its abuse to show that to a child number 2: its jesus getting a blowjob from a dude number 3: the artist is mental number 4: its jesus getting a blowjob from a dude
its like the whole mosque thing in new york. sure they have the right of the first amendmant, but with that right comes responsibility. its COMPLETLEY immoral.
sure hes trying to talk about like gay marriage and stuff but come on dude really?
ITS JESUS HAVING MO FUKIN JESUS GETTING A BLOWJOB FORM A DUDE AND ITS BEING DISPLAYED FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.
just because you have the right to do something doesnt mean you should. doing that to jesus is in a sense the equivolent of showing and image of Mohamed.
i dont like it when people walk up to me and tell me every thing thats wrong with my religeon. its called respect
Well respect is earned, not given, so quit with that whole line of reasoning. Secondly, your religion IS wrong, it's been shown to be wrong in every area which it can be tested, and I can guarantee you that you don't even practice your religion as it is meant to be practiced, and neither does anyone else. If you people can't even follow your 'holy text' how the fuck is anyone supposed to buy your snake oil?
mages purpose in life is to oppose god i bet 2500 of his forum posts were against religion and just like delo i can take a joke just dont tell me everything thats wrong with my religion
just dont tell me everything thats wrong with my religion
So you would rather follow something that's wrong? Well, I guess that's why we are at odds then, because I have an obsession with being right. Sometimes that means admitting I'm wrong and changing my stance, and it means only following that which I can show to be true. But hey, if you'd rather have a warm fuzzy fairy tale that's your prerogative, just don't try to use it to justify your actions, especially when those actions affect others.
so you like being right so that means you have to admit your wrong?
That's correct. For example, several years ago I was under the impression that the universe was likely to end in a 'big crunch', contracting on itself after it expands to the limits of the ability of gravity to keep it together.
After new research came out we realized that this was a highly improbable situation and that the heat death of the universe was vastly more realistic. I had to admit that my current position was wrong, in light of new evidence, and adopt a new position.
See, this is how science works, and why I love science so much. A scientist loves nothing more than being proven wrong. You know why? Because it means that we are ever closer to the truth, and the is really all we want. But finding the truth means admitting when you are wrong and being open to criticism, new information, and you must be constantly searching, studying, examining, and critically examining everything you believe.
I find so much more wonder in the universe when I admit that I don't know much about it, then set about learning about it, as opposed to following my old religions which supposedly had all the answers.
