Yeah LOTR it better, after the second Harry Potter book I only read the others because I just wanted to finish the rest of it and get it over with.
AG used to be called games of gondor after lord of the rings and the first games were also influenced by it. Maybe Ag would not have existed with LOTR.
A tie for me. I know Harry Potter more, and it's better because of the books, and I can't really sit still during a Lord of the rings because the movies are too long and there's too many different side stories.
I quit watching the Harry Potter films after seeing the fourth. They made too many of them, and from what I've heard it basically turned into a teen drama. I prefer the Lord of the Rings movies because they actually keep me entertained when I watch them. They have a lot of action and drama, which is why I like it. They are also very long, which is a bonus.
It's kind of funny how Dumbledore was held at wandpoint for 3 minutes by his enemies before he was killed. In LOTR it dosen't take 5 seconds of hesitation.
