tell us what was the worst thing for you this day. me: i study in the afternoon and today i had stomach ache so i wanted to came home and relax but my little brother was in the computer and i got nothing to do, i hate that, and i get bad grades too
haha not 5 minutes ago i was about to post a rant on my facebook about english class (honors english 11) but facebook said it was to long, so i didnt post it anyways i might as well post it here...
Before taking English classes in high school, I enjoyed reading and creative writing. Now we are being forced to read books about delusional witch hunts and seventeenth century love affairs, and we are constantly bombarded about how to construct the perfect thesis statement. When will I need to correctly argue the life decisions of The Crucible's John Proctor when I'm working a blue collar job because the job market has collapsed again? Newsflash; not EVERYBODY plans to write essays professionally when we grow up.
Wait... you have to write an essay about John Proctor's status about being a tragic hero as well? That's some small world. Whatev. School isn't all too bad, just gotta take it in strides.
I feel so sorry for you, morpheus. You had to go to school, and study, on the afternoon! Few people have had something like that. Oh, wait, no, almost every single person has done it, and those who haven't either wish they had, or wear diapers.

I hate that, that people keep saying/writing, that they hate school. School's just fine for me (In my opinion). We do a lot of nice things in there and it's nice to learn new things. And school inspires me to write stories :3 Usually short stories. I have never made a novel, yet.
Maybe I could make my own short story collection~ I'm so unrelated to this thread xP

Well, the only thing I hate about school is homework. I spend about 7 hours at school. And get more homework, about a plus 2 hours?! I really gotta have fun at home too, man...:\\
dude at my school were all juniors and seniors and we have to get walked to breakfast and lunch get walked to the bathroom the office the nurse and to the front doors to go home and if you go off in class they call the police and you say you hate your school try going to mine x.x

First off, it's highschool. You learn the fundamentals of what every modern human being under a normal education should be able to accomplish. Only in college will you be able to learn what you want to learn.
Second of all, The Crucible is shweet. It's the perfect book to reference to when Christians go ape crap on the Muslims just for being Muslim. It's the perfect book to reference when we do irrational stuff while on a scare. Remember the Red Scare? It's based off that.
Oh. And you think you have it rough? Talk to me, bud. Or better yet, talk to Strop or Cen. Mostly Strop. And if you do talk to me, remind me about thesis statements--I should teach you how to do it where other teachers can't.
