Do you agree that teachers should talk to each other before assigning their homework, because on one night I will have three and a half hours of homework and the next, none.
I don't know how old you are, but normally you have more time than only 1 day... So it's up to you to organise btw: be happy with 3.5 hours... I gotta do this (or even more) every day (ok, I'm no longer in school, I'm studying physics...)
Actually this is a duplicate of this thread here I can see you are a newer community member, so in the future please check to see if your topic has already been made.
When I student taught, the school had over 200 teachers. I had 150 students in one semester, and all of those students I had combined probably had most of the 200 teachers. How the heck am I supposed to talk with 200 teachers to make sure all 150 of my students don't get too much homework? I'd literally have to get a spreadsheet with every student and their schedule, then talk to every teacher about how much HW they're planning, then input that data to see how much HW I should assign. I worked 8 hours at school, planned about 3 hours a day. If I sleep 8 hours, that leave 5 hours of free time. It would probably take dozens of hours to talk to every teacher and learn their plan. Now tell me how I'm supposed to do that...
I remember last semester I had assignments that I would start Tuesday (all day) continue on down Wednesday Thursday and Thursday night. I Friday I throw up purple unicorns and shoot lazers out my eyes.
because on one night I will have three and a half hours of homework and the next, none.
I mean what is that?
It means on average you have 1.5 hours of homework a day thus pretty lucky.
on one night I will have three and a half hours of homework and the next, none.
And?
I certainly hope you don't think this is a lot, and appreciate the nights you don't have any. And if not then I hope you never plan on undergraduate studies, because I recall how much work I had in college and I would have loved to only have 3.5 hours of homework on any given night.
i agree i had to right a 22 page book then have to put up with a crying plastic baby for health class then of comunity service plus some algebraic equations for math so i really agree with the teachers communicating thing

Wow, is it really that bad? And everyone says that college is fun. I am incredibly lazy and at junior year in all honors, so cruising along on sheer intelligence no longer works. I almost wish I stayed in Russia so that I would never be able to slip into my pathetic lazyness, because as with any other European country the standards of education are much higher. I seriously have to get my head out of my *** on this issue because if I don't shape up soon everything will go down the crapper especially when I hit college. What's strange too is that while I'm more endowed intellectually than physically, I find it much easier to push the body than the mind. Anyone have any good advice on how to get motivated? Because I'm in need of it.
It's not bad, but it is a lot of work. If you plan on taking a heavy courseload, or doing well, then you definitely need decent time management skills.

I did mine while I was in the military so it was a mix of online and classroom, as my deployment/training schedule allowed. However I'm planning on attending a standard university in the next year or two to get 2 more Baccalaureates.
I currently hold a Bachelor's in Psychology, and am going back for a merged major in Biology and Education, and another merged major in Physics and Astronomy. From there I will choose which path I wish to pursue for my Doctoral.
