it depends on what game your talking about. on black ops the m16 is only a 3 round burst gun and the ak isn't and its alot more powerful.

im still goin with the ak-47

the ak-47 is a fast killing gun and the M16 is a save lots of time gun

Ak-47 is mostly used in close combat, if your sprinting lets say and yu see to people in front of you, bam thats a double kill, while with the M16 probably die or kill one, also M16 has a farther range and is MUCH more effective when you shoot the head, also not to mention, if your playing hardcore CoD TDM.. it doesnt take more than 2 bullets to get somone so, its a 1 shot and its much farther range... could get you killed a couple times but again this all depends on the natur of your playing, oh and if you mean CoD which perks are on als matter

AK47 will normally be better. most of the time, burst weapons will have a flaw, they make you wait between bursts. when i was a little kid i played socom CA and they had it right, you should be able to keep pressing the fire button and have the bullets keep coming but have the recoil be considerably higher after the first burst

I use the M16 w/ reflex when I prestige in Black Ops.

I usually stay away from the AK-47 and use the AK74u instead.

Ak is ok but I find it difficult when I have red dot on to aim with red dot cauz the normal sight is still there, so I miss a bit. I like it with silence. I also like the m16. Both r good guns and r good at what they r made to do.

I don't like how you are not being specific as they're different in most shooter games. In Cod4 the M16 is beast as the AK is bad. Modern Warfare 2 the AK is a lot better with better iron sights, FMJ gets rid of sway on the gun, and the M16 has horrible iron sights and is worst then the Famas.
In Black Ops, the M16 is horrible. The AK is OK but not that good.

The AK-47 is more reliable, cheaper, and has better stopping power than the M-16. I think the comparison should be made between the AK-47 and the M4.

I both think that they are very good weapons but if I had to pick one, I would pick the M16 because it is 3 shot burst and you usually kill an enemy in one burst.

I'm going with the AK-47, it has good rate of fire and it's pretty good long range, the M16 is only good long range and is really bad at hip firing.
