A lottery ticket purchased at an adult bookshop has won almost $129 million but it so far remains unclaimed.

According to Powerball rules in the US state of Michigan, winners cannot remain anonymous when they claim their prize.

The lack of anonymity may pose a problem for the winner who purchased the ticket from a store that also sells "Adult" toys and "Adult" movies.

The $128.6 million win was the state's second huge win in a multi-state lottery in eight days.

Why couldn't he claim it and just tell people that it was the only place near where he was at the time that sold lotto tickets? and if he didn't want to claim it, why would he waste a few dollars?

Bacobit says 26% and I say it's 33%. I don't think income tax is the same as lottery taxes either. Lemme look it up!

In New Zealand lottery isn't taxed.. yet the largest prize here is a mere 30 million or so.

If I bought the ticket myself, I would claim it myself. I went into the store once, going again to claim my jackpot wouldn't be bad.

I wouldn't go to a adult store in the first place though.

You don't claim at the store, you go to the 'headquarters' of that states lottery division and claim it there.
