There seem to be plenty of active users here at Armor Games. I see lots of people with over 200 posts and quite a few people with over 1,000 posts. But, the forums always seem to be slow. It sometimes takes hours for threads to get responses and often I'll only see just a few of the same people posting through out the day. (I've been on the site at all hours of the day/night as well.)

Is it me? Why so slow?

even more for the college students.

Annotated bibliographies on Evolution and Abiogenesis co-existing that contain 10 sources....that is all.

I agree with Frank. I trust our moderators to take care of all the activity which AG3 shall bring.

Agreed. And if bad comes to badder, then the team will just promote more.

im guessing all the good ideas are taken by really old threads and if u make a new thread of the same topic as a thread that is really old im not sure but i think it will get locked

My guess would have to be because of school. I know that school is the reason why I'm not on the forums as much anymore. Especially the last week or 2 because I had so much work from missing a week of school due to illness.......stupid pneumonia

Not necessarily. If you make a new thread on a topic that hasn't been discussed in a while AND you are creating a deserving thread that has substance and promotes actual conversation then the thread will stay open. Same goes for if you decide to resurrect a dead thread. Just provide it with a new opinion with some substance and the conversation can continue.

he, I made a similar thread about a month from when I start and all I got was a "why don't you start making threads of your own?" sort of response.

Forums, Why so slow?

Work, school, commitments, family and/or friends, lull before AG3, holiday and personal issues could be why.

That's cause you were new and fun to pick on You've become more entertaining, and far less spammy over the past months, so you're probably safe now.

yes, yes Ash. We know that you helped teach the boy Not that his being MY student as well had anything to do with his rapid reform into a more well adjusted and socially acceptable spa- er... user.

Mrs Asherlee, Mr Walker! Don't argue argue about being the better teacher! I'm out of spam rehab and a 94% functioning member of the general community. If you want, i'll vote for both of you in the favorite user thread

They just want you to vote for them! They'll go back to smacking you with a stick like the Supervisors do in Corp. Inc if you do!

Hmm...to keep things in the linear discussion as it should, I find that activity goes up when more threads are made. Yesterday was mega slow, but last week was pretty awesome. Like I always say...If you want some awesome activity, get some awesome leadership in and make some awesome threads!

I just came back to AG from about a 2-3 month inactive period, I have to say, I have noticed that the response time has decreased.
Since I have proper homework now, I can't go on as much as I use too.

Oh dear, looks like Efan is in a spot of trouble... Poor chap. On a related and almost entirely off-topic note: I can't read the title of this thread without thinking of 'Why so serious?' and then in turn:

You sound nervous. Is it the accent? Want to know how I got it? My father was a drinker. One night he went a little crazier than usual so my mummy got the teapot to defend herself - he didn't like that. So he pours boiling hot tea all over her, then he comes at me with the teapot and asks "Why so... British?"
