omg i loved avatar and inuyasha. but after i gave it a big thought my most favorite anime is also my first aniume: fruits basket since i can really relate to that anime
I love animes like Lucky Star and ore no imouto ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai. The first 5 or so episodes of Yosuga no Sora are also freaking amazing, then it gets weird.
Also things like Bleach and Naruto and Elfen Lied are good.

Im actually reading Bleach volume 4 right now (well not right now but you know what i mean). I love the series i also really like Naruto pretty much all manga is gunna be brilliant.
Naruto. They plot is intriguing as well as the battles. Although I haven't had enough time to watch all of the series. I used to think DBZ was good. But the plot in DBZ is paper thin especially compared to Naruto.

Plot = solid gold except some of the filler arcs are lame. The battles have too much talking in them, however they sometimes do that well. The bridge-chunin exam arc was absolutely freaking amazing.
Pazx - Avatar is NOT an Anime. It may be in the same style but it isn't made in Japan and so doesn't meet the Western worlds definition of an anime. Sorry.
