Have you ever lost armor points ? We don't judge you if you spammed, troled or anything else, we just want to know the reason, so that doesn't happent to us. I lost 250 points for gaining 50 points in 10 minutes ((
I erased a comment today saying "i am not a noob i am not a noob i am not a noob i am not a noob i am not a noob i am not a noob i am not a noob" -- obvious spam, but obviously more than 7 words.
Yeah, so the moderators and admins when they see a comment with more than 7 words. They have to look it in pretty closely in order to understand if it makes sense or not. But being a mod and looking through all those spam comments, is no fun. It's boring and tiring.
Hey, if you need help, i would be glad to help, i'm on this site as Kusic for 1-2 and without an account i played games here since 2008-07, so i would really like to contribute in some way. BTW what is the name of that thing that cuts wire or similar metal, like scissors, i need it for a comment on a game
A few of the sites I've used don't let you post anywhere until you've read the rules and taken a quiz of sorts on them. Could this implementation be considered?
It's also important to note that rapid-fire game comment postings are considered spammy. My cleanup is looking at how quickly users commented between games, and it's amazing how some users can comment on 2-3 games PER MINUTE when 20-30 seconds is barely enough time to LOAD the games, let alone play it long enough to leave a thoughtful comment ... so those messages are also being deleted.
Are one/two word comments on profiles considered to be spam? Because there are times when you just have to say something to the order of "what?" or "Pardon" etc.
No, we're not as hard on the one/two work user profile comments, because the users can always delete those themselves. Mods generally only get involved with user profile messages when someone's being harassed, or we see a bunch of profanity, etc.
