Unfortunately, the ghosts go to the Soviet Russia, where the ghosts hunt the Ghost hunters!

Fortunately, somebody who would like to remain anonymous (we'll call him Garth) called the Ghost Busters.

Unfortunately, the Ghost Busters did not have a cell phone connection where they were.

Fortunately, they were all at their houses when Garth called, and they all had land lines.

Unfortunately, the city's power was off...

Fortunately, they had backup generators that were functioning perfectly.

Unfortunately, the call dropped.

Fortunately, the ghosts turned out to be good and helped humanity until the universe imploded.

Unfortunately, Garth convinced the population that the ghosts were evil because he was still mad that the ghosts scared the poo out of him.

Fortunately, a small population believed they were good and hid them till they escaped into space.

Unfortunately, we had mastered deep space travel by that time (thanks to the valiant efforts of Garth) and the government followed the ghosts and destroyed them all.

Fortunately, Garth died from a hole in his space-suit, ironically becoming a ghost himself.

Fortunately, not for the ghosts.

Fortunately, names like Garth and Vinny are cool.

Unfortunately, that doesn't matter and Aaron Barrett lead singer of Reel Big Fish shows up and everyone dies of awesome exposure.
