Oh, that... Well, I'm not DM, so I don't have authority there, so you'll have to take it up with either DBS or Thor, and I can see you already tried that... If you were to die and have reincarnate cast on you, I suppose that would do it, otherwise some kind of curse or perhaps even a polymorph potion of some kind (a permenant one, that is). Aside from that, It's really up to the DM if he is going to allow it, rules or no.
Yes, it is. Sorry, I can't be constantly online, you guize. Also: I think I have the perfect campaign idea for the next campaign after the Winterbrook one. Let me just clarify what ya'll want, to be sure. DH: Wants puzzles/riddles/etc. All the Male Characters: Want to be able to seduce people. So, is that correct? And what does Sir Dr. Mr. Rt Hon. Pres. Cap. Lt. Pvt. Cpl. Spc. Cmd. Adm. Noobalot want to see in the campaign?
Anyway, Siber goes to err..."consult" the head cleric of the Church of Lathander. As luck would have it, the head cleric of the Church of Lathander is Jozan Silverheart! Yeah, that guy. Siber's attempt to intimidate Silverheart fails, but Silverheart really doesn't seem to care. "Look, you can't coerce me into anything. Just tell me what you found down there in the well, if you don't mind," Silverheart tells Siber. "Did you find any evidence of poisoning? Anything at all?"
Now look here, I have strong reason to believe that one of the clerics in this town was responsible for the death of at least one of those citizens, and I have sworn on my honor to find those responsible. It may not have been you, but I am not taking my eyes off you. We did find something in the well, but I do not have current possession of it. I ask you again, Do you know if any clerics in town could be responsible?
"I'm sorry," answers Silverheart, "but I don't know. Judging from the wounds inflicted, I can surmise that the spells cast were relatively weak. This could mean one of two things: one, that the cleric is weak, probably an acolyte, or two, that the cleric is powerful but smart enough to use weak spells so as not to give him or herself away."
A good analogy, but it does not help us at all. I submit we gather together the acolytes and cleric of the town, see if any are missing, and then proceed to ask them some questions, under a zone of truth. That is always the best way to get answers. If they cannot directly answer the question, then we are on to something. After all, you and the cleric have nothing to hide, right? No reason not to try this, is there?
Ya'll should read this. It's funny, and I promise it won't **** your mind like my last link did.
"Of course not," Silverheart replies. "I personally do not know the Zone of Truth spell, but I think that Cleric Quarion at the Church of Corellon Larethian might. Be aware, though, that if the person is unaware they are lying, they might be able to lie."
