i dont reallylike spore. the ORIGINAL BETA was ****ing awesome and realistic. (there was a water creature stage after cell stage) There was even blood! And you could drag your kills' bodies back to the nest!
The commercial one is ****. anyways, for commercial my list is:

I watched a vid of the beta and it is 10x better.

I bought Spore BECAUSE of Creature. Each phase of the game had it's ties or references to a particular game, and I think Creature was based off WoW. But that's just me. I'm not a fan of WoW but the phase was fun nonetheless.

I couldn't stand Tribe! Civilization seemed really short. Space got too big too fast. Creature was good for me. So was Cell.

Creature was by far the best one. Cell was also great. Space was no fun at all, and neither was civilization. Tribe was pretty good, but it was still meh.

The expansion with the space stage makes a semi-lame creature stage, but it's continuous and it's mixed in with an already great stage, so it's good. I have spent HOURS making awesome creatures, normally that's as far as I go.

All i know is that the worst is Space, all others are prety much ok, Creature is a simple RPG kind of game, Cell is a nice arcade, and Tribe and Civilization are RTS

I used to play it a lot. I don't anymore, but by far my favorite is Creature stage. You can do so much on your planet without the game being too complicated (like Space stage). i really like just controlling one character. I really like finding new body parts for my creature, and I love socializing (i think that's the word) with other creatures, destroying other species, and fighting epics. So yeah. Creature stage is awesome.

1. Creature (for reasons mentioned above)
2. Cell (too short, but pretty fun)
3. Space (it's fun, but gets pretty repetitive and boring after a while.
4. Tie - Tribe and Civilization (it's not that I don't like these, it's just they're my least favorites)

Tribal is so hard so i just use cheats so that i can get to the next stage to have more fun

I liked the creature part the best and I have also really liked civilization too... Cell should be longer and more complex, tribe didn't impress me that much and space just sux :/ though I made a kickass spaceship
