The purpose of this thread is to share music that caught your attention lately (like this morning), doesnt matter the style or whatever other reason (just you like it) If you have a link to add, would be better ;D
In order to keep it clean and nice try to follow these rules:
- 1 or 2 songs (this about sharing everyday music not lists) - Avoid albums, bands, genres or "best of" discussions. - Comment why this song is special in that moment. - Bring some information to show us what is this about.
If you dont wanna talk its fine, but the first ones are kinda necessary.
Whenever somebody mention a well known band or song is missing like 90% of other good tunes. So help us to spread the music, cause we all love it and is everywhere.

For example:
Shonen Knife - top of the world
If I Were A Carpenter; alternative rock tribute album to The Carpenters released in 1994. Shonen Knife is a pop punk japanese band playing since 1982 with kinda original lyrics XD and influenced by bands like The Ramones or The Beatles i guess .
This is a happy song and i cant help smiling since yesterday whenever i watch the video lol, the drummer is cute the bassist so energetic and the singer loves Ramones nuff said.
Rammstein - keine lust
Reise, Reise is the industrial metal band Rammstein's fourth studio album released in 2004. "Keine Lust" (No Desire) is about not want to do anything anymore! Nothing! cause of excess.
The song and video are awesome, weird coincidence, i love the slow beginning turning into a cool rythm and the way they act.
A friend of mine showed me this song. I love music in general, but I'm a huge fan of rock, blues, and swing. Pop music is something that I find to be a guilty pleasure. That is why I actually enjoy this song:
I listened to this song, and instantly asked my friend, "Is this really Kesha?" I was just astounded that this actually had... emotion. Unlike her singles which are about drugs, partying, and whatnot, I find this song kinda enjoyable to listen to. Even if the intro sounds exactly like Teenage Dream by Katy Perry. (Another one of my guilty pleasure songs, what can I say?)
I don't like rap alot but this recently caught my attention. It wasn't about drugs, sex, and all that whatnot. It was about...I don't really know. Just listen to it.
Hey ghost of metal- how about sonata arctica's "full moon"? Adamwestslapdog's Majora's mask: the abridged series (the second out of his 2 hilarious Zelda series, look it up on youtube) actually intruduced me to that... what?
oh, and mine: Vertical horizon- Shackled [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oq6DG-Sm2zU] (srry if the link is broken)
One of the best songs from one of the most underrated bands ever. Their guitarist Keith Kane wrote and sang this, and his lyrics are, in a nutshell, amazing.
This is a song I recently came across on YouTube. It's nowhere near the genres I usually listen to, and I think what makes this song so original is how the vocals don't quite fit in with the music in a way, yet somehow that only makes it better. I don't know, maybe I'm just odd. I'll just link it and you can see yourselves. I'm not sure of what genre it is either.
Symphonic black metal, the album talks about a ghost story "the white lady, La Madame Blanche"
I never like a black metal song till now, gonna have dreams or nightmares tonight XD
....something is following me!! Yet there''s no one I see as I walk the old pathways near the woods... (scream) A murderous identity is staring from the trees.
Ok i need 1 more point to get another armatar, so... ;D
SauroM Wallada la Omeya Spaniard melodic folk heavy metal, this song talks about the beauty patron (im not sure is the right english word, but something like: "somebody who helps arts" and poetess Wallada bint al-Mustakfi, a prominent female in the caliphate days.
Headgirl Please Dont Touch Headgirl was a collaboration between Motörhead and Girlschool in 1980, the result being the St. Valentine's Day Massacre EP.
