The purpose of this thread is to share music that caught your attention lately (like this morning), doesnt matter the style or whatever other reason (just you like it) If you have a link to add, would be better ;D

In order to keep it clean and nice try to follow these rules:

- 1 or 2 songs (this about sharing everyday music not lists)
- Avoid albums, bands, genres or "best of" discussions.
- Comment why this song is special in that moment.
- Bring some information to show us what is this about.

If you dont wanna talk its fine, but the first ones are kinda necessary.

Whenever somebody mention a well known band or song is missing like 90% of other good tunes. So help us to spread the music, cause we all love it and is everywhere.

*********************************

For example:

Shonen Knife - top of the world

If I Were A Carpenter; alternative rock tribute album to The Carpenters released in 1994. Shonen Knife is a pop punk japanese band playing since 1982 with kinda original lyrics XD and influenced by bands like The Ramones or The Beatles i guess .

This is a happy song and i cant help smiling since yesterday whenever i watch the video lol, the drummer is cute the bassist so energetic and the singer loves Ramones nuff said.

Rammstein - keine lust

Reise, Reise is the industrial metal band Rammstein's fourth studio album released in 2004. "Keine Lust" (No Desire) is about not want to do anything anymore! Nothing! cause of excess.

The song and video are awesome, weird coincidence, i love the slow beginning turning into a cool rythm and the way they act.

*********************************

Thanks and cya around...

Eyedea and Abilities - Burn Fetish

All I can say is woah. Eyedea was notorious for being a world-class freestyler, and then he paired up with the DJ Abilities and they did 3 albums. This is from their last album before Eyedea died, By the Throat, and it is amaaaazing. The guy's a genius rapper, both from his lyrics and also his insane freestyling record.

Laid to Rest by Molotov Jukebox

Molotov Jukebox is a delightful gypsy band. Even if you're not a fan of the style, it's still quite fun to listen to. This song has been stuck in my head for weeks.

Trust by Bitter Ruin

Dark Cabaret. Powerful voice and charming instrumentals. I'm in love with these guys.

Something To Believe In - Parachutes

I just heard this song on the radio yesterday, and I really liked it. I usually don't listen to mainstream-type music, but this is one of the exceptions.

(just like) starting over
John Lennon & Yoko Ono
Double Fantasy (1980)

A good song from this last Lennon album.

disciples of hell
Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force
Marching Out (1985)

A real classic, Malmsteen showing his guitar skills without being bombastic like now.

Siberian Khatru - Yes

I'm hooked on that song these days. Yes, in my opinion, and although this song is not notable for being extremely progressive itself, is the best prog band to have ever existed.
They simply...concretised the essence of the genre into what it sould be; they mastered it.
Please note that I couldn't find anything as good as album quality for that particular song, sorry.

Also, 3:05 to 4:14 is quite simply stunning.

The Flashbulb - Undiscovered Colors

I found this song after watching MuzzaFuzza's CoD montage Balance. I really loved the tune and I looked it up on Youtube. While I usually don't like this kind of music (don't even know what genre it falls under) it makes my hair stand on end and gives me goosebumps.
