my area well it's known for having a mountain with low grade uranium ore everyone within close range of the mountain like sheep herders died of some sort of cancer

and my country is known for being under otoman rule for 500 years until 1918

although my area of dalhousie new brunswick is currently a rundown old town in the middle of nowhere. we have records that in the early 1900's when we were a tourist destination, the queen of england at the time came here for 6 seperate visits until the hotel was burned down in a bar fight.

I live in Chicago to. We're also known for our corrupt politics.

My rural hometown has nothing really special other than the ice-cream place, but I live about 30 minutes from Grand Rapids.

Considering I live in the L.A. area this list could be quite long.
I will keep it closer to my house though. (within 20-30 miles)
My area has a lot of filming, a theme park (Magic Mountain), and three different colleges (Cal-arts, College of the canyons and Masters college).

i live not too far from Baltimore, though still in Pennsylvania. We are pretty famous for the blue crab. They are very tasty.

Well everything about Chicago was already said, so I'm stuck. If only less people from Armor Games didn't live in such an awesome city.

I very much forgot two things about my area. 1.) For a brief period of time, York, PA served as the capital of the U.S. I live very, very close to York. 2.) the 90's band Live came from York.
