I'm from the town where To Kill A Mockingbird was written. I used to know the author but now she's just a mean old lady.

Now I live a hundred miles south where there's just a high crime rate and a college whose abbreviation is USA..

My town's known for being founded on America's Independence Day (The exact day, not an anniversary). o.o

The small town I live in is known for drugs. :/

My area is known for non-usage of plastic bags

For being the Capital of the Choctaw Nation.

We are one of the top 5 fastest growing counties in the nation. Oh, and we have good artists.

Being ridiculously cold, and having thrifty residents.

Our area is famous for not having a federal government for more than a year and nothing changing when we do have one

Goldie is known for the theme parks and the hot CHICKS!!

Round Rock Doughnuts! (Look 'em up) They are so good, they were on man vs. food!

North Dakota is known for buffalo and oil rigs.

Winnipeg is known for just about nothing.
But in 2014 we will have the Human Rights Museum.

Seattle is known for Coffee, the Space Needle, rain, and grunge.

Hamilton is known for the numerous strikes by the local 1005 and the Tim Hortons capital of the world.

Where I live isn't really famous for anything except for being the Burned Over district. (Look it up)
Oh, and Half-Moons.

And I could also say "We are famous for being the part of New York that is not New York City and thus makes everyone confused.
