hmm, good question, well i like first person so i can aim, but I like third person so an enemy can't come behind me and melee me without me knowing hes there before he does it. they are both really handy, im just not sure which is better, but im gonna go for a dive here and say first person, is better.

depends what game you are playing. cod and battlefield are great as 1st person, and would be rubbish as 3rd. however, open world games and games featuring stunts/awesome looking attacks need to be 3rd person and would be absolutely stupid as 1st. in general, i would say 3rd is better - i am a big fan of 3rd person open world games, like red faction guerilla and just cause 2.

i love 3rd person, (think of how much 2nd person would cheat, MAJOR ANNOYANCE WITH SCREEN PEEPERS)... anyway, i do enjoy 3rd person games, if it is a game where it's a better style for 1st, but in some instances 3rd. i would like an option to toggle 1st on and off (like oblivion).

What is a first person game? I'm guessing a first person game is when you're playing as a guy you see his eyesight?

Yes, that is a rough definition of a first person game. Some examples of First Person games would be:

Halo series
Borderlands
Battlefield series
CoD series
I think the Killzone series but I haven't played any of them or have watched gameplay to be sure on that one

First person makes you feel like you're in the game. Like Minecraft or Doom, and 3D is kinda boring and you feel no action really. So I'd pick first person.

Depends on the game. First Person in all shooters like Goldeneye 64. 3rd person when you need a broader view of how far distances are, or where you are like in Super Mario 64.

I actually can't notice a difference it may just be me, but I am above average in both, I play games like RDR and Mass Effect and I've beaten Mass Effect on Hardcore and beaten RDR multiple times while first person i always seem to do good in Halo,Cod, and other first person shooters

first person is better for online games because with 3rd person you can watch behind walls and behind you so I prefer 1st person just for tacts. In singleplayer mode there isn't a big difference but 1st person looks more realistic

(Uncharted 3 online sucks)

I prefer first person over third person, but I also like third person games too.
