I think the 360 version is stupid it's just a downgrade of the pc version I see no reason to get it when I have the pc version it's a waste of money the only good thing is setting up a server is easier.


Maybe you don't but for those who want to play with their friends it is definitely something to consider. It's true the Xbox edition is an older version than the PC but the developers are gradually updating the game to the most recent version (1.2 at the time of writing).

and don't forget that some people have an Xbox but don't have a good enough computer for the PC minecraft

I have the xbox 360 version. I know you miss out on some stuff but I hate having to remember how to build stuff in the pc version

Yeah, definitely. It's just a matter of convenience and preference really. I don't mind either but there are ups and downs to both (excluding the mobile version).

Hmmm, personally I enjoy the old version compared to the new one. It reminds me what Minecraft used to be like before the 1.8 Adventure Update and it makes me slightly nostalgic. Call me old fashioned :P
Anyway when they do get around to updating I would like them to make the Adventure Update separate, possibly. The new mechanics and everything are great but sometimes I feel like the game becomes a little more RPG than sandbox gaming.

In my opinion, having to craft everything from memory is more fun and slightly more fulfilling in terms of achieving something than the Xbox Version. It also keeps you more involved with what you're doing.

The adventure update makes you unable to break/obtain (most?) blocks, and leaves you adventuring the world for....no apparent reason. Im still excited though.

what, seriously, now is that out yet for PC because if you can't collect as much then that really sucks, does that at least come with bigger maps?

Minecraft is a very great game. If you enjoy killing mobs and bulding things, this is the game for you. I am very addicted to it.

I seriously can't wait for August 1... Those numerous new things in 1.3 are sure to be epic.

what is in the adventure update


There are a great many things in the update if they are following with the PC version. You will have to do the research yourself unfortunately but the basic are new Mobs, Blocks, Structures such as Villages, Biomes, Hunger Bar and Combat Mechanics.

There will probably me bigger maps in future updates but I don't really know. There will be a creative mode apparently.
