Minecraft is just big hype.
Over rated does not mean bad.
The only reason people have so much game time is because their to big of fan boys to give up or there to poor to get anything else.

1. You're saying everyone who enjoys Minecraft are fanboys who can't admit the game sucks. To be a fanboy, YOU NEED TO ENJOY THE GAME. You
can not be a fanboy and believe something sucks at the same time. If someone is a fanboy, then they
genuinely enjoy the game - they
genuinely believe the game is good. There is no doubt in their mind that the game is awesome.
You obviously don't know what a fanboy is.
Plus, a fanboy is a person who always compares the thing they're a fan of to everything else, denouncing everyone else's opinions.
You are the anti-fanboy, the negative equivalent to a fanboy. Whereas fanboys always talk about how their game is superior to others and everyone who disagrees is wrong, anti-fanboys always talk about how particular games are always inferior and everyone who disagrees is wrong.
Lastly, not everyone who enjoys Minecraft is a fanboy. Even people who absolutely love the game understand that everyone has their own tastes, and they're okay with it!
2. You're suggesting that the only other people to enjoy Minecraft are people who are too poor to afford anything else. You created this scenario where people who play Minecraft are either poor, or faboys. I already explained that most Minecraft gamers aren't fanboys. If they aren't fanboys, and if they aren't poor, then clearly there's no need for me to explain that many non-fanboys CAN afford more expensive games.
Oh, wait, you included a THIRD group of people who enjoy Minecraft. I almost forgot.

So, according to you, if you aren't a fanboy and you're not poor, then you must be retarded. Not only does your grammar speak for itself, but I'm not even going to bother going over how asinine this statement is.
You get much more game play from Skyrim and even more game play for Gmod.
Maybe you do get more game play from Skyrim and Gmod, maybe you don't. Either way, it does not make Minecraft a bad game. World of Warcraft has more game play than Skyrim and Gmod, does that mean Skyrim and Gmod are inferior games?
Gmod is 10 bucks, Minecraft is 30. Way overpriced.
Price is a subjective opinion that may or may not be shared by other people. Something that is overpriced to you may not be overpriced to other people. If so many people are willingly spending money on Minecraft, then they obviously believe 30 dollars is a fair price, or at least a price worth buying Minecraft.
As for Gmod costing 10 dollars, that literally doesn't matter at all.
Minecraft had a good run, but its time for it to die.
Why? Because you want people to stop enjoying the game? Oh, right, you believe everyone who enjoys the game is a fanboy, poor, or retarded. If you
honestly believe the crap coming from your own words, then I suppose it makes sense that you want the hype over the game to die.

I understand this might be a reason why you dislike the game, and that's okay, but losing you items upon death is not a reason for me to hate a game.
Its a very bad idea for a sandbox, Terraria did it much better, But minecraft fan boys killed it.

Minecraft fanboys killed Terraria? Just because Minecraft is vastly more popular than Terraria does NOT mean Minecraft is responsible for Terraria's lack of popularity.
