A doghouse/cage for them is a bad idea, 'cause if you make them sit when you quit the game glitches so they can't stand back up D:

(don't be jealous that i have 4 wolves i spawned them. i spent an hour looking for natural ones)

I had 3 wolves. 2 drowned themselves under their doghouse and one killed itself on a cactus. I can't work out how to feed them :/

cookies work to feed wolfs i think, i put mine in my room in a fenced area he helped me kill a ton of stuff. so fun to have them!

cookies do not work on them =( lol, im happy it seams they have fixed the glitch with the quiting, cuz i was able to get them to work again, but sadly 6 of my dogs killed them self on my fire pit and cactus wall, i tryed to get away so they would tellaport but i didn't get it in time, but i found 7 more so its all good, lol i have alot of luck with wolfs =D

My tutorial on getting wolves

Love minecraft, its an amazingly great game. Anyone who says that it sucks, they don't know how truly awesome it is.

For getting wolves, do you have to have bones and meat or can you just have meat or bones?

You need bones. Meat just heals them. Somehow.

Look at my last post for a tutorial on wolves and meat is not necessary at all. It just helps attract them. Bone is used for taming them so it is needed.

Can Wolves spawn in peaceful mode?

Yes and they won't attack you unless you attack them.
