I love the way people are like you can get 1.8 already even though it is only pre release so it is full of glitches and bugs so you may aswell wait for full release.
Notch might have put some new stuff in since the pre release got 'leaked' he could be leaving something off it to give people a suprise when they go on to see something like a dragon or something else that is epic
I found one in a new world in my mineshaft after about 1 1/2 hours of searching. I got poisoned by some spiders and had to resurface a couple of times though.
There are so many bugs people have found with the pre-release that I'm going to wait for them to fix it and officially come out with 1.8. Of course, many of the bugs may not be fixed until 1.8.2 or 1.8.3. Either way, I can't wait! Everything sounds so awesome!
Plus one of the mods I use, IndustrialCraft, is upgrading to IC^2, with better machines, wiring, and such! Yaaay! This will be so awesome!

I don't mind the bugs, other than endermen barely spawn in survival mode (had it on hard and was dispointed) and the fact that it crashes SO OFTEN! I didn't mind that at first but then it got to be a pain. I like the hunger bar, but when some1 said you have to hold the right click to eat, I thought you could stop at any time and you gain health WHILE eating, that wasn't the case and wasted a cooked porkchop on 1 food indicator -_-
