I think the update didn't really change anything for me I mean its cool but there wasn't any major game changes eg. New weapons new armour new ores etc. it was just a lot of stuff that made you think this is cool for awhile but it just gets boring after awhile

See, i played minecraft, it's a really good game, that's right. Unfornatey it uses Java which is some computer make so much lag! The v1.8 is just lag for me. There's no condition of playing! Unfornately, i had to play terraria in lace of minecraft... I look forward of playing minecraft again ,but then, with no lags.

You say that it's JUST java, but it's not. You don't relize it, but every time you move, pretty much more than a million blocks have to be rendered, that's why you use the fog button, to stop the large rendering.
heard some rumours 1.9 is gonna contain NPC's? 1.8 has abandoned NPC villages now, lol. And they really have to fix the level up system. You have a nice bar on the bottom of your screen now which fills up and drains empty over and over again
the main problem is the immense lag that it creates when you die after playing for a while.
