I don't think there are usefull mods in Minecraft. Mods add a different part to the game OR they make things a lil' more easier (Timbermod, TooManyItems etc.) OR Prettier (Reflective Water).
I beg to differ, there's optifine, that one that gets rid of the experience orbs, and there's the logic mod (sorry too lazy to post links, so I hope you recognize these mods)
I love minecraft, and most of my friends love it to, but i think one of my friends are ruining the fun by making his server modded so he has everying without even crafting. when you have everything there is no point in mineing or crafting.
true true but i think its just fun without mods completely now i understand what you mean about mineing a ton of redstone, but i dont think its fun anymore with a COMPLETELY modded server
My friends and I are now playing on our 1.8.1 server (without IndustrialCraft, BuildCraft, and Flan's Planes... :'( ), and so far it's pretty cool! I've seen one village, but no strongholds or mine shafts yet.
I also love creative mode! There's so much you can do now!
I don't really like creativemode, the inventory screen looks really ugly and too full for me to use. I just prefer to use Too Many Items. (Some servers have instamine for pickaxe so it makes up for another benefit of creative). I was also expecting creative to have a flat world, but sadly it doesn't.
