To start off, what's your favorite board game (any game including games that aren't exactly "board" games)? If it's really unique, just write a little about.
I always have good, fun time playing Heroscape. Let it be known that I bought enough terrain to launch a 6v6 game in my attic. You can get really creative with the custom maps. I think the highest altitude I made reached 7 feet.
OMG! Me and my friends play board games all the time when we got nothing better to do. I love the following: Axis and Allies- Kind of old fashion, but it's fun. If anyone people know what it is... Monopoly- So much fun! I have the electronic banking one and it is way easy than the orginal. Don't got to worry about cash, jus tuse a credit card. Risk- World Domination, Baby! Almost everyone knows this games, right?!?! Life- The game of life. Live your life and gain money and lose some. HAHA you went broke, boy ^_^ Diplomacy- Conquering you land is so much fun! Hours of fun, unless you losing... Too bad for you Chess- Just have to add this game right?! Skill is key, unless your random, so... CHECKMATE!
My dad had that game, too. One of the pegs was missing, though. However, I did buy my little brother a new game of Trouble last year...and Sorry this year. Not even realizing it (Hang on, I'm about to drop a really corny joke), I guess you have to get in trouble before you can be sorry! *Wild Laughs* Alright, here's a picture of Trouble for anyone who hasn't played it before.
I have played countless board games in the past years. However the one that I am most pleased with is chess. And also most of those said board games have been destroyed by my younger brother.
I've been really in to Axis And Allies Lately. Had a great game with some friends that lasted till 2am before anyone won, and battles consisted of handfuls of dice being rolled dozens of times a fight.
I always liked Lord of the Rings Risk too, good times. And Go, it's kind of like Japanese chess.
...but somewhat ironically I don't really like chess at all.
Knight, why?
Yeah same question why?
The board games that involve little strategy get boring quick. Everything becomes frustrating because you are at the whim of the randomness of the game and have little control over it.
On my computer I only play chess with either the AI or others online. Most of the time though - I can't find a decent challenge while playing. . I hate that. .
