Invisible Children is a non-profit organization that was formed to help stop the 25 year long war in Northern Uganda. Here is a link about the organization.

Also, here is a place where you can make a donation to the organization.

How am I attempting to stop it? By asking a few simple questions?

I considered the questions mean and uncalled for.

Actually, I never really noticed you before ... dunno why ...

Truthfully I never noticed you either. I don't know why. I have 2000 post, a majority of them on this forum. Aww well, I could probably add you as a friend if I really wanted to any way.

Well, we'll just say - he who has not sinned should throw the first stone, then.

Hah, we all know people only fallow the things in the Bible that they actually like! They will just ignore it if they really want to stone us. Or maybe they will use something other than stones.

Hmm...realist - define that please...

Ya, I was actually wondering what this meant too, but the context clues basically gave it away to me.

I'm trying to help a good cause, and you come in and say its pointless. If it was pointless, don't you think I would've stopped posting after the first response from you?

314d1, let me ask you something. What do you think happens after death? Just a simple question, with a possible simple answer.

No. Some people do things even though they are pointless. Like you seem to be doing right now. And I am attempting to help you - I am suggesting an alternative course of action that would be more beneficial for you and the charity, rather than a pointless campaign here.

Do you find these questions offensive for some reason?

Not necessarily. Look at the classic forum troll...

How do you know what "is"?
You seem to be defining it as one would define the word "frank" or "blunt."

The way you stated your questions were offensive to me. I didn't exactly think that you were trying to help make this thread more beneficial, but I still don't think that this thread is pointless, because if it gets one person to donate, then does that mean because one person donated, that its pointless? One person could lead to another.

It seems to have pocketed at least $5. It's in the green.

Look - you're going to find these types of questions if you post to a WEPR forum. If you find them offensive, point out their fallacies and refute them as swiftly and brutally as possible.

Don't get defensive - I was only pointing out one possibility.

By talking, many things not even remotely involved with the charity where talked about for many pages.

Typically you are taken to a place where you are embalmed and other ritualistic chemicals are put in your body in order to preserve it and for other reasons. Then another ritual happens, this time you are typically put in a hole in a ground surrounded by your friends and family. Then the ritual disbands and you are berried. Eventually, you decompose. Is that the answer you where looking for?

I wasn't being defensive. Wow... now I'm being defensive to prove that I wasn't being defensive in the first place, wouldn't this be a paradox?
