2. If the united states had devoted it's full military to Afghanistan we would've been successful, but we split our forces between them and Iraq, causing our failure.

with patrols the humvees get blown up by roadside bombs all tha time or get rpged by millitants

you people are clearly morons. Since the militants are blending in with the normal Afghans there's no way we could kill them by "Bombing and advancing" without countless civilian deaths. Think the war between Israel and Hezbollah, where the civilians took most of the damage in Israel's raids and bombings. This leaves us with patrols and special forces as our only reliable options.
