It's funny how your almost never born atheist, you become atheist. I personally think the whole religion thing is far fetched. Why cant we just be dead after we die? Why does there HAVE to be an afterlife? Dont get me wrong i respect others decisions, I just don't believe in it, who's with me? I'm going to be some grass fertilizer one day And home to some maggots + worms.

What? Its vulnerable, so lets attack it!

Hyperbole of what I said, but sure.
No more than TLOTR can be considered proof of hobbits and orcs, or that the Hitchhiker's Guide is proof of everything it has in it.

Some people consider the Bible proof just like TLOTR can be considered proof of hobbits and orcs.

To a madman, perhaps. Unless you now believe in hobbits and orcs?

And when I mix it myself in a beaker, I get NaCL and H20, AKA salt water.

Yes but in my science book, it explains how I can prove it myself.

Just like in the Bible, but unfortunately in the Bible the means are being nice and spreading the word. Not good for conversions.

Or pray and move a mountain, as your god promised you. Science, biches, it works!

Yell at me for spamming, but just some random advice, I think that by leaving out letter to curse words to display them, you kinda take a bit of the edge off.

So, when they say that undaunted faith moves mountains, it is implied that because no one in fact can move mountains, no one's faith is strong enough. Which may contradict reports of priests casting out demons because of their faith. Unless casting out demons is considered a lesser feat than moving a mountain.

It was a typo, I assure you. I was attempting to state what seems to be Thunderfoot's new motto, though it seems that my spell check didn't catch it.

Actually, what it said was

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

So if you have just a little faith, you are supposed to be able to do anything. Which your god lied to you about.

Yes, faith as a mustard seed would be undaunted compared to the apparent level of faith our society holds today.

So all those people that use faith healing don't have enough faith to make it work? A mustard seed is small. So Jebuz wanted his followers to use his magical powers...

Some people, rather than using modern medicine, use only faith healing and prayer. Needless to say, many of these are sued for neglecting children. But they put a lot of faith into it, but it shows no reward.

But how could they know if their faith is as strong as they perceive? In fact, their faith could be .001 compared to a mustard seed's worth, an amount beyond their current perception.

Risking (spending) the lives of your child isn't strong enough faith?

1. It's done hundreds of times a day, I don't see why it would be.

2. What I'm saying is, while it would seem so, if we are talking about the concept of something like a god, we can't necessarily assume that what we think would be enough WOULD be enough.
