ForumsWEPR[req] I dislike threads on religion

I really dislike all threads on religion. Almost every single thread is someone who doesn't know what he's talking about, raging about how religion is stupid, and someone else overreacting and getting angry and proving the other wrong. The first person then proves the second wrong and then the second proves the first wrong again and it goes on and on but neither will be convinced by each other because of their particular beliefs.

Does anyone else agree with me?

(I'm not an atheist but I'm not saying which religion i belong to)

Nice way to not really apologize and shove off the blame.

Nice way to be a hypocrite and continue the argument, now inst' it? And, do to the fact that you also admitted blame, I was correct, now wasn't it?

314, ever heard of a thing called "letting it go"? You know.. walking away from a fight?

Since when has that been my way? I am more of a fight-to-the-death kind of guy.

It is in a debate forum, but yeah maybe he was looking to tell you what he thought, but I think mostly he just felt like finding someone that thought the same way he did. It still is his thread, and he did ask you to stop.
And I get the whole habit thing, but it doesn't excuse you from saying it is what you though. And he is allowed to say what he thinks, not have people cornering him.

Wasn't trying to continue the argument, you just decided to think of it that way. :P
You were slightly correct. I wasn't the only one, but at least I'm making an effort to put out the fire.

He is right there. Why not ask him?

It still is his thread, and he did ask you to stop.

And I offered to stop, on the condition that you stop as well. So why haven't you stopped yet?

And I get the whole habit thing, but it doesn't excuse you from saying it is what you though. And he is allowed to say what he thinks, not have people cornering him.

He is allowed to say what he thinks, but I am also aloud to say what I think about what he thinks. Or am I not for some reason? Is it somehow an outrage that I responded to his posts?

Yeah well I am equally as stubborn as you. So I'm not gonna let you get the last word XP
And the dude is welcome to step in and be like "stfu" but he hasn't said a word, so he most likely got bored and decided to log off.
Allowed* And it is quite obvious you have more experience at debating than he does. Why not be a bit nice and give him pointers on helping him form an argument?

But you succeeded nonetheless. The argument seems to be alive and well.

You were slightly correct. I wasn't the only one,

Slightly correct is correct.

but at least I'm making an effort to put out the fire.

By stoking it with these posts?

Never too late to try something new!

Backing down while still living and functional would be against my philosophy. By Endurance We Conquer!

We will see...You need sleep some time and it is only twelve thirty here!

And the dude is welcome to step in and be like "stfu" but he hasn't said a word, so he most likely got bored and decided to log off.

Or he had some other pressing matter, like sleep.

Allowed* And it is quite obvious you have more experience at debating than he does.

Isn't that how I spelled it? And yes, we all know I have been here longer than he has.

Why not be a bit nice and give him pointers on helping him form an argument?

Wait, I thought you said this was not a debate, so why would there be an argument?

If you are waiting on me to say outright that you were correct on anything, don't hold your breath.
I'm not asking you to get mad at these posts. You choose to take it in a manner that I didn't intend.
Ditto at the last bit.
