What religion is most specific about what you should do in your normal day and what one has the best layed-out explanation for the afterlife?

Quick question before we start, please.
Is this a simple open question that is simply a debate about these religions or are other aspects of w/e open to it?

I'm not going to dabble into this topic if it's the first assumption since I have only the knowledge I need about Religion to argue against it

Atheism.

Atheism isn't a religion, so there's nothing to follow.

I don't know much about other religions than Christianity, only the basics for those, so I don't know. From what I do know, probably either the Muslim faith or the Jewish faith, those both have a lot of rules covering day to day living.

Are you trying to find a religion? Because it seems like you want to join a religion to tell you what to do and how to act o.0

Well, depending on how you interpret "to the point," you could get different answers. Bhuddism is the simplest (unless Agnosticism counts) and I'm not sure what the most complex is.

Deism, God created universe then left.

Wow..... that is definetly to the point.....

That's interesting. I've never heard of deism before. It does somewhat seem like an excuse though. It would explain why so many terrible things happen, but so called God does nothing to stop them.

Actually, this thread was created to give others a chance to show their views according to their religion. I personally am Catholic.

Ooooh. I'm sorta agnostic-atheist. Which sounds weird, I know.

Paarfam, you should have explained it better.

TNT, I assume you mean you think tere may be a diety, but you aren't sure?

I feel that something larger (probably not a diety) helped things fall into place, but I'm really not sure. I'm more atheist now, though sometimes I shift more towards agnosticism. I prefer science to the supernatural.

You can't really shift from atheism to agnosticism, since the two aren't directly comparable. I'm also an agnostic atheist, because I absolutely don't believe in any deity, but I don't think that deities or their absence can be definitely proven in any way.

Well I'm not really sure what to call it, so I just call it agnostic atheism. :P

Deism? It sounds like it to me.

But if you ask which religion is most "To the point", I would have to go with none. Follow your own morals, you rot when we die, and we have proof that we are right about you rotting.

What do you mean?

What religion is most specific about what you should do in your normal day

Probably some obscure sect. But in big religions, I would say Islam.

It probably would be some obscure religion no one has ever heard of, but out of the main religions I would say Buddhism. Basically you just get reincarnated until you reach nirvana. It does get a little more complicated than that but that's the basics.
