Well I really liked To Kill a Mockingbird. I also really enjoy the Series of Unfortunate Events series and the Maximum Ride trilogy which is no longer a trilogy.

My faves
1- Eragon, gets special bonus, author was youngest to ever have a national bestseller, also everything else in the series
2- The Erec Rex series, very new and imaginative ideas, I met the author and she says she gets inspiration from Ancient Greek myths
3- The Hobbit, the most descriptive book I have ever read, and I feel like I am where Tolkiens is describing
4-Artemis Fowl Series, these books are ingenious and I have even taken a crack at discoding the bottom, but I never get farther then the first paragraph, The decoding actually is a message
5- The Pendragon series, The author is brilliant, great and original ideas and fast paced, keeping me glued to the book
I only decided to write the top 5, not my top 100. You are lucky, I could go on forever,

Frank Herbert's Dune series. Great books.

I also really liked To Kill a Mockingbird when I read it for school.

Oh, and pretty much anything by Terry Pratchett.
