My favorite groups of books are anything published by Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Dragonlance. Mostly this stuff is Story's that take place in different time periods of three different I guess you could say Fantasy dimensions. They have some awesome characters. My favorite characters are in the Forgotten Realms. Drizzt (a Drow also known as Dark Elf who lives underground) Has a whole collection of his story of not believing in the gods of his native people. He is part of one of the noble houses and ends up rebeling. His family tries to kill him and he escapes from the darkness and triers to make his way above ground. It takes his eyes a long time to adjust and they never become perfectly adjusted to the direct sunlight. His race has lived underground for thousands of years. Now he needs to make a living above ground where everyone is afraid of Drow's because Drow's have maid raids on their villages and destroyed many of their family members. I'm just trying to get you interested in this character so that you will go and read this awesome series of books. Drizzt is considered the Thousand Orc killer because he eventually takes on an entire army of Orcs single handedly and wins. His weapon of choice is two scimitars that he moves faster than almost anyone can see. He also has a Spirit Panther that he can summon to help him. He's the smartest/deadliest fighter in the underworld and becomes a follower of Mieliki The god of the righteous. Gets a reputation so that he eventually is allowed entry into any land because he is the only drow that doesn't follow a dark path and is always helping everyone. You can get these books at your public library or buy them at any book store. They are incredibly good and I need to stop typing cuz this is feeling like a school report and getting out of hand. These are nice books. I usually read books about computers,programming websites or gaming magazines. Harry Potter is still popular because of films. I think the Eragon is better. I luv also Lord of the rings. I have read all books many times and its still exciting...(:-)
I absolutely love fantasy stories with different races, magic, enchanted weapons and so on... but when it comes to fantasy books I tend to be a bit iffy about them.
I have to say that my favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye and behind that book is The Zombie Survival Guide.
Personally, reading isn't my favorite thing to do. I wouldn't even consider it a hobby. I really only like stuff like the Guiness World Records Books or sports books lol.
I don't read much at all but when I do read I pretty much finish up a 110 page book a day! I like the Goosebumps and Harry Potter books (those take me a really long time to read though)! Also I liked the book called Heir Apparent its not a series but it was freaking awesome and so intense you have to read Heir Apparent way awesome.
Nobody has talked about dan brown yet. I think he's a great writer I love all his book and the best thing about them are that they're based on true facts or at least what people believe that they are true.
