Caps lock is possible, but is frowned upon. As for the 30 second rule, check out this thread.

I'm condused? SO..You play the game for under 30 seconds, then comment. Then go to the next game?

These are the players who, click on a game..While it's still loading rate it a random number....then they post "good game" or "EPIC" and then click back and go to a different game and repeat...

The 30 seconds rule is pretty fair imho... prevents opening 10 pages, rating & commenting & closing in 10 seconds, so no AP farming. On the forums it's no issue either, since if you can write two posts within 30 seconds, the posts weren't that relevant anyway.

If we didn't have the 30 second rule, do you know how many gold kings this site would have in one day? Do you know how long it takes to click 8750 times? Under an hour. This simple little rule has saved this site from being overrun by superspammers every day.

You play so many games so fast that you need to comment twice every 30 seconds?

Post w__res would disagree with the 30 second rule. But if I being honest, I don't really care about either.

Using excessive caps lock is against the rules. It's fine to use them some times to add emphasis to words, but not excessively.

And the 30 second rule there is to prevent a lot of spam on the site and is a really fair rule.

I know for a fact that you haven't played the game if you're doing that. It takes about ten seconds for a game to even load.

I think keeping the caps lock rule helps keep proper grammar. As for the 30 sec rule, I didn't know it applied to all topics. By that I mean I didn't know that if I commented on a game, I wouldn't be able to pst a thread 15 sec later.

Having the caps locks rule prevents people from using excessive caps lock with their posts and comments so that they aren't hard on the eyes. And some people might take offense to all caps since people view it was yelling on the Internet.

Fifteen seconds isn't a long wait.

Ok..How does that stop trolling. I agree that it stops spam but I don't think it really makes people troll.

Having to wait 30 seconds between posts builds character :P

But really, most internet forums have the CAPS lock rule. Because it's standard etiquette.

EVEN WITH CRUISE CONTROL YOU STILL HAVE TO STEER

If you get rid of the 30 second rule, spamming and trolling will get out of control! Thats a bad idea.
