I think ag is waaaaay to strickt about spam. i mean, were just having fun. whats the point though?
Every forum I've ever been to has very similar rules regarding spam. However most, unfortunately, get so much of it that moderators and staff are too overwhelmed to enforce the rules. AG is different in that we actually actively enforce the rules, even though it is an extremely time consuming process. Personally I spend roughly 15-20 hours per week just going through comments and forums deleting spam and such, and this is not time that I am compensated for.
I do it simply to help keep the forums clean and clutter free which makes them more enjoyable for everyone in the community. If you guys would knock off the spam I could spend that 15-20 hours playing games or something entertaining instead.
So knock it off. Seriously. Or I'm going to scream. Or ban someone. Either way.

The removal of the 30 second rule would ruin AG from the servers to the forums to your AP. It's very annoying when you have 100 spam messages in one topic. Same thing for capital letters used excessively, how annoying is it when you see capital letters excessivly used.
