I created this thread for anyone that is interested in discussing mathematics. I don't think that this thread is a [dup] and if it is, it was not intended to be one. The first thing I will say is that I know the value of: e to 12 digits: 2.718281828459 pi to 25 digits: 3.1415926535897932384626433 I hope that this thread will be a successful one.
He was just posting the first 25, which I believe is accurate enough to deal with a circle the size of Earth with an error margin less than a football field.
Would i be considered possitive, negative or just ****ed up?
Lets say there are an infinite amount of points in a circle (which there is) and lets say each of those points is a side. If a circle has an infinite number of sides than the number demonstrating the ratio of circumference to the diameter will have to go on forever. (I'm mostly guessing here because the answer i actually learnt is too complicated without pictures)
Well... Why is it irrational?
Irrational numbers are (in latents terms) numbers that go on forever, and Pi goes on forever.
