People often complain about how their prayers always go unanswered, and I was just wondering what the AG community thought about this topic. I was also interested in where your opinions where on asking God for something.
Being atheist isnt your only 'crime'. I am sure you have insulted someone in your life.
By saying atheism is a crime, you just insulted my religious beliefs. That means you've just insulted someone too. You're a sinner, my friend, and I will see you in hell.
err... God made humans and gave them the ability to think.
If we were given the ability to think, then he can't really blame us for finding logical explanations for things around us, can he? And if he did want to be worshiped, then he would've given us proof of his existence, because he created us and he'd know that our ability to think would require this.
Your god is omnipotent and omnipresent, but you still have to tell him, threw a medium, what you have done? That sounds more like a way to play on peoples' guilt to me.
Actually, you arent using your ability correctly. You should at least follow a religion.
That would be going against logic and reasoning. No religion is true, no religion even has a shred of evidence that they are correct. That would be not using your abilities.
If I go to heaven, which Is my greatest desire, I will live eternally.
Wouldn't that be the same if you go to hell? You would still be alive, just tortured.
err... God made humans and gave them the ability to think.
God made humans the ability to think. The humans thought and some came to a conclusion that god doesn't exist. Then he sends them to hell for thinking. Seriously, is god dumb or something?
I don't think so, I just think God makes himself seem like he makes mistakes to test our faith. God is perfect, is does everything intentionally and never does something that would contradict himself.
I don't have anything against praying. It's a way for people to rekindle hope and look for inspiration. And also, it's nice to have some powerful being to turn to when you're in trouble. However, I don't like it when people try to push me to pray because 'God shall always answer my prayers'
@E1337 Actually, God gave us the ability to think on our own to see what would happen. In a way, were kind of his test subjects. Of course he still loves us, we just need to love him back.

That is ****ed up. He is omnipotent. He would know what would happen.
