People often complain about how their prayers always go unanswered, and I was just wondering what the AG community thought about this topic. I was also interested in where your opinions where on asking God for something.

Nilo, I'm not sure what you meant by that.
Paarfam,
Says who? But he is just one person, right? And if you can't explain it, then why believe in it? I don't quite understand. Sorry, NURVANA. I'm not as theologically intelligent as you.

What makes someone legally 'drunk'?

The more he drinks the little fairy tails and myths, the further he'll be from reality, even if it's in his happy place.

never in history has complete humanity agreed in a thing.

Of course, but you only need the majority of the people.

If this guy
1. Experiments on us though we are supposedly his children
2. Doesn't help us in need.
3. Sends us to Hell for minor infractions
4. Gives us no say.

Why is he worshipped?

Look at where we would be without him. We wouldn't exist.

And Tacky, God might as well be a billion things because he can change all.

*Sir, the target is in site. Prepare to fire*

Nyaaaaaaaaa...........

Okay.

1. How's that?
2. Plenty of people would whole-heartedly disagree with you in that regard.
3. Like?
4. Free **** will.

1. According to Paarfam or someone, we are his test subjects. Which scared me a bit.
2. People see what they want to see.
3. Not believing in him. That's hell. For eternity. That's not exactly a learning experience.
4. But he could easily take that away according to Paarfam.

It's a joke between me and someone who's not even on here right now, so pay it no heed.

I meant alcohol.

1. We are not his test subjects. God put us on earth so that he had someone to share his love with.
2. I agree. If someone doesn't want to believe in God, they'll happily grasp at the feeble, subjective flaws people point out in christianity.
3. Incorrect. You see, that is a grave misconception out in the world today. Just be nice, and don't be an *******. You have a conscience for a reason.
4. Don't listen to Paarfam. He's a squire. JK. But, he won't. That's the thing.

2. People see what they want to see.

That's what I meant about the universe being cold and dark! All it is just colors, isn't it? Maybe there is life out there but whose to say? Besides it would be nearly impossible to meet it...

That was me. I meant it intentionally.
3. Not believing in him. That's hell. For eternity. That's not exactly a learning experience.

As I said earlier, a thought came up to me that told me God was like a child, children hold grudges, God doesn't have to take them back if he doesn't want to. Case closed.

So if your father beat you, horribly, repeatedly, in drunken rampages and actually blames you for the beatings, you would not feel any spite toward him?

As I said earlier, a thought came up to me that told me God was like a child, children hold grudges, God doesn't have to take them back if he doesn't want to. Case closed.

So you are lead by a petty child. Pathetic.
