People often complain about how their prayers always go unanswered, and I was just wondering what the AG community thought about this topic. I was also interested in where your opinions where on asking God for something.

Agreed. Now, is there a set 'over the limit' for emotional drunk... ness?

I wouldn't say so. The limits are only defined by humans. Subjectivity indeed

What one may see as foolish another takes for important.

But I fear that I did not take it for foolishness. I only laught at my own foolishness for not grasping the concept of your question on the first try.

how many hours a day would you say you spend on AG?

I keep the tab open all day long, but go on it once every two hours or so.

150 posts in one day!

To be honest, in more of a matter of a few hours to me.
No, it means tell the toddler to **** off

Again, God can do anything. He'll send you straight to Hell.
I would rather "Get mine" than kiss this psychopath's *** for all eternity

You get eternal paradise though...

Wasn't there a passage in the bible where paradise was basically a lot of praising. But tell me, what is paradise? What does paradise mean?

So, you'd rather burn in the highest form of torture for all of eternity instead of giving up your dignity? And still, God does know all.

What does paradise mean?

Paradise is one's depiction of the highest form of happiness. In shorter terms, Heaven looks different for everyone.

So am I, Nilo. So am I.
I imagine paradise as a land without some of my friends because they unfortunately don't believe in god and are burning in hell. You know what....I think I'll stick with being an atheist.

That's a bunch of crap. I'd say I'm unimpressed with your imagination, because if I'm faced with an omnipotent being who I either love, or I am thrown into eternal torment, I know what my choice is. If hell is real, 314d1, then you cannot comprehend its pain, its torture. And faced with that when you have the option of repentance and salvation, not only would you not have the guts to turn away, you wouldn't want to. No one would.

Okay, but a lot of my happiness is made out of sins, can I sin in heaven?

I die on my feet then live on my knees.

Then!? God doesn't only forgives while you're living.
I think I'll stick with being an atheist.

See you in Hell, wait, never mind. I'll be singing in Heaven.

Forget I said "doesn't."

Dignity, honer, loyalty, courage, and pretty much any other positive trait that you can think of would be in this choice. How could you live up their and be happy while your wife is burning in a fire forever? When anyone is burning in fire forever?

So tell me. If Hitler offered you a position at the near top of the SS, in which you would get a ton of comfort and anything you could want, would you accept it? If he would put you in a death camp if you said no? I wouldn't, assuming I was the same person I am now. That is the same thing, except your god is more insane, offering a greater reward, and threatening a greater punishment.

''...hell's greatest torment is that the people there can see the beautiful heaven they miss...''

doesn't that tell you something?
