Does anyone notice, for the most part, that the mods have pretty awesome names?

Bunneh is already taken.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I wonder if I can do anything about that in AG3.

I saw "no numbers" and "hard to pronounce (unless you are Italian)", but are there other?

Well, NoName has some numbers in his username, and so does Walker. So would this be for aspiring mods?

I rather like the names of our dear moderation team, they're quite original for the most part and none of them are like 'xBlackxRosex' or something along those lines, as long as it seems quite unique while still being appropriate then I think it's a suitable username.

Short and simple.
I always like things with short names, it makes them seem awesome.
Movie titles love to do this, and I'll name a few recent ones of the top of my head:
Thor, Insidious, Hop, Hanna, Limitless.
Same goes for usernames, in my opinion.

The only known criterion for a username or mod name is that the name must be appropriate.

And if you were not going to be super serious about it?
Appropriate is a very subjective term, as well > >...

but I was once told of a lock tag that said [READ THE STICKIES!]

Yes, that would be mine.
I react badly to repeating actions over the cause of a day, like locking duplicates, moving threads that were misplaced, or telling people to knock off the arguing.

I saw "no numbers"

mrWalker82?

The thread that I linked to is not locked

Cenere locks a lot of threads that are covered by the stickies.

You can't do anything about it other than hope that Bunneh changes his username. Once that starts, you would have to change username 30 days after it starts (as far as I know).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I don't think that username is taken into consideration when choosing a moderator, so you would have an equal chance as idontsuckthatmuch as you would with the username Bunneh.

mrWalker82?

And Nemo does have numbers, yes, but considering this is more for fun than for logic and serious discussion, play along, eh:P

Besides, I think most of us have nicknames or shortenings anyway.
Gantic and Strop (and Zophia in my case) seem to be the only ones without a shorter nickname.

Maybe you can add your initials at the end like how I might do with Matrix[insert initials]
Short and simple.

Me too, but unfortunately I have to stick with this username for a few more months.

In all fairness it is pretty hard to shorten Gantic or Strop - Gan and Stro sound suspiciously like STD's or recreational drugs.

Some administrators have awesome names, Cormyn and Krin are pretty awesome names.

shocking revelation! Gantic might have a meaning in Norway.

It might just be a name there too.

Sometimes I wonder how some of the Mods and previous mods got their usernames.

Like Moegreche, Gantic, Estel, dank, Flipski and Zophia.

What's so weird about those usernames?

I don't think GoM meant they were inherently weird or anything - just that they were really quite unusual.
