Besides, I think most of us have nicknames or shortenings anyway. Gantic and Strop (and Zophia in my case) seem to be the only ones without a shorter nickname.
But you do call me Zoph when we talk in real life. Well, when not Kraeling.
Like Moegreche, Gantic, Estel, dank, Flipski and Zophia.
Estel is, iirc, a name from a book he likes.
She liked (likes?) the letter z, and her middle name is Sophia. We do however pronounce it differently that most English speaking users will.
This, pretty much.
My real name is full of spelling traps, first one being a z in my first name that would usually be an s. Over years of correcting people when they misspell it, I've grown really rather fond of my z. I prefer my middlename for its shortness though.
Oh, and for pronunciation, it's not so-fee-ah, it's sof-ya. Or just Zoph (might ditch the -ia when AG3 hits).
My name isn't too bad but the only problem is that it kind of leaves a trail, I've used it almost everywhere I've been and now a quick google search will lead you right to me, so if you'll excuse me a moment:
Zophia hasn't been on in days and than we start talking about her and she comes back. I'm going to assume Cenere is involved with her being in this conversation.

I was posting in a thread or two in the Video Games section yesterday.
I lurk. :P
I took the Av- bit from the latin 'Avis' meaning bird - the -orne just sounded good to me and so, with minimal effort, a name was born.
Random info: "Orne" is the Danish word for a male pig. Awkward associations aside, though, I do like your username. Looks good in writing.

So, if I have this right, one could make my name out to be 'flying pig' if we take into account both parts of it? That's actually rather great, after all, 'when pigs fly' is often used to mean that something is impossible. Thanks for letting me know about that - it's made me feel somewhat special XD
Nothing british? *grins impishly*
Not everything I do has to be British y'know -cries-
Ooh, I'd absolutely love a cup of t- Hey! That's not fair. I may have to come up with a new username if people expect me to act more britishish - SubLime? PomEgranate? TeaLord?
I forget if I've had this convo w/ Cenere or not... was your username made to be "Ash" after the Poke-mans character? I think it was pretty much a part of all of our lives at some point(except Asherlee... she says that she missed that boat.)
...and Zoph-ia you could change your name to "The Zoph" :3... i dunno... w/o the -ia it just looks lacking to me. but then again its not mine
