Curiosity has got me today.

Do you guys know to not wear a brown belt with black shoes (also vice versa)?

P.S. Hipsters are excluded.

So, does my manner of dress fail or is it acceptable?

.

Fine, you change it every week.......

It's acceptable. You wouldn't expect half the guys on AG to be fashion savvy.

What he means is we have our heads up our *****, we think our **** doesn't stink, we are the sun and the moon, etcetera... Basically he thinks anybody that cares what they look like is concieted. I assume he has even less fashion sense than I do.

I'm confident all of us would have at least a shred of care about our appearances. It doesn't matter if we perceive ourselves as hideous or not or if we only bother to look respectable because of public opinion, but I believe there isn't anyone here that hasn't cleaned themselves with water in a year.

I've done that a few times. I've warn a Brown Belt with Black Pants and I liked it. I see nothing wrong with wearing that.

It seems to be an extremist view. My point is not to look like a clone like everyone else, but to use some sense when you dress yourself. The ones I've listed are a cornerstone.

It isn't just social settings that dressing badly is going to hurt you. It can hurt you in the work world as well. It is about respect and it shows that you care about looking nice. It gives people an impression of what you are like in other areas.

Again, FIRST IMPRESSION, LAST IMPRESSION. Most of the time, this is what you've got.

So, wear that crazy t-shirt with ratted jeans, just match your belt to your shoes. It isn't that hard.

Asherlee, you never gave me your impression of my dressing. Could you please do that for me?

I just bought a monsterhoodie today and I am really excited. It's coming in the mail and I am going to look fly. No. I am not joking either, here's a link to exactly what I got:

Seriously Cal? That is pretty cool and all, but I think that is a fashion fail.
