I have a suggestion: I think it would be nice to rate/like user comments that are given for games. Also it would be nice to keep the comments that receive thee most likes on top of the commenting place. I've visited this site called kongregate.com they have this system of liking user comments and the most liked comments stay on top of the other user comments for that game. It would be very nice to see the best comments/tips for playing the game without going/searching over all the comments. Please make some system like that. Thankyou. 007
i think that keeping the same comments at the top would be totally awful, because no new ones would be viewed and u would have a rating stalemate situation which meens that only the comments that got the miost rating to start with will be seen, so only those will be rated, nobody is going to traul through all the spam and old comments just to get to the new comments, so its a waste of time.
but a tips page like a link to a forums page in the flash games section of the community would be good for hints in abling a better gaming experience.
ur idea about tips is very good. but definatley not the comment rating. brp47

Go take a look at a flash game on Kongregate to see the comments.
It shows the best comments at the top that are highly rated then goes down to the most recent comments, however, there aren't many because commenting on Kongregate isn't very large, they only allow 1,000 characters with comments, but on AG you put in a lot of characters in the comments which means that a lot of the comments will be seen.
I'd like the comment rating, if it is put into AG3 then it'll be like the posting like/dislike button, I think that people should get reputation/karma if it gets rated up a few times.
Yes this would be great maybe for getting awards, I don't know but hahah being the person with the most liked/thumbs up etc. on they're comment would be nice and this suggestion is nice
Instead, I would suggest a feature to report spam on the forums to AG staff.
I've seen this implemented before and it's a good idea just as long as a bunch of people don't report the same post, comment, etc b/c that could be a pain.
I think a Moderator or Administrator should make a sticky about how the AG Administrators aren't going to add anything to AG2 unless completely necessary.
In case of the whole rating of comments, wouldn't we get the crappy: "vote up if you *blah blah blah*"-style comments? And chain-comments like: "ost this at 5 games after you rated it up and *blah blah blah*"?
Well, i really don't think this is a good idea. People will vote up their own comments, or get their friends to do it for them. It will eventually lead to people voting up stupid spam comments. I really don't think this is a good idea.

Don't you see that little red flag on the right of every post? Thats the forum flag button. Click it and that post is reported to the Admin.
I don't think that they will give the person that made the comment the ability to vote it up.
Possibly.
Maybe if your friends vote up your comment you won't get as much reputation as you would if a random person does.
Ummm.... Where did you hear anything like that? Sounds kinda like (ahem) you came up with that.
Spam gets deleted.
If its reported and/or a moderator or administrator sees it.
It's a good idea because people would be able to see the good reviews of the game.
Most of the comments are only 10 words to 15 words. There are not going to be on every game a Merit worthy review.
Let me put it this way, people leave their comment on the game (Not a good comment as most of them aren't). Their comment is E.G. 16 words. Then after the comment, they post some joke about the game. People are gonna vote up the comment with the cruddy review just because they think the joke is funny. Look at YouTube, 90% of the highest rated comments are not even really about the entire video but a tiny part that they made some joke about. You cannot say that there is not a chance of something like this happening.

Then maybe a voting reason needs to be added when voting something up or down. Different reasons would have different Reputation values.
