Now i understand the reasons why Christians feel the need to go to church, for the sense of community ect ect ect

but from my experience christians seem to think its a sin or an obligation when you dont go to church, deists that belive in and worship god are often thought of as being lazy or not commited to faith

it says in the bible: where two or three are gathered together god is there

so surely a family worship would be a much more personal and practical for most people, so why dont more people do it?

Umm...And you base this from...? Last time I checked, the majority of people don't go to church on a daily basis.

It may be hard to fully understand why people in general feel obligated to go to church. Especially we can not see the world from their shoes..

Doesn't the bible say to worship god in private? And not to be boastful and public about it?

Ever wonder how much money the Vatican has? I'll give you a hint, lots.

without money they can't keep running

When did church become a money thing? Isn't it supposed to be about worship, and loving thy neighbour? Also, why the need for a church? Couldn't they just all go to the park, or Bob's house? Bring the priest and hosts and worship there?

Then the religon won't spread and continue.

Yes, because one billion Christians in the world is simply too few.

If itt's with other Christians in a building it isn't very boastful.

Yup.

They often do have prayer meetings at people's houses. A few times at my house actually. But the church still needs to pay for candles, wine, bread (blood and body) lighting, ect...

Yeah well. If you don't spread it the religon will die out.

I, for one, am not an atheist. If you look at my profile you can confirm it.
