What are your views/experiences in high school? If you are not in high school yet, then just talk about school in general.

My views of high school are definitely no better than before I got there. I'm a Sophmore now, and I've started to slack off in classes. Two weeks until the end of school, and I am so happy.

I don't really mind it because I get to see my friends every weekday.
Only two out of my six courses are actually interesting and I'm actually learning something new in them.
My teachers are rotten, one even told me that I was going to have fun in summer school, not jokingly. He would always give me low grades for A quality work, and my guidance counselor agreed with me, so we got that straightened out just the other week.
Although I don't study much, I do all my homework, which allows me to still do well on tests and manage a 4.0, which isn't too bad for not studying. I'm definitely going to try harder next year.
Overall, high school isn't such a bad place if you do well. If you're slacking off, it will be hell.

I'm in highschool. It isn't easy, you have eight-ten classes a day at my school. And the duration of each class is around fourty-five minutes to an hour. Last year it was much better because you would have four-five classes a day. Each class was an hour and a half. The days were called blue days and red days. Four-five classes on blue day, then the other four-five that you had the next.
I some times procrastinate with my homework. But I'm passing school, so it doesn't matter much. I also have the opportunity to do the schoolwork at home. The school gave me a disk to download onto my computer with the school programs that I have to take. So I have the option to go to the school, or I can stay home and do the work on my computer. Most of the time I choose to do it at home because then I can focus more on the work, and I can take my time. But I do still go to the school two-three days out of the week.

I'm in a texas highschool. I'm okay with it, but the people there are such morons. I never had to deal with people this annoying in middle school. and durring the TAKS (that major test in texas started by the no child left behind act)test, one of the students behind me decides to start flicking his teeth. It is so annoying that I want to put a bullet in my head. the rest of the time, I finish my assignments early and then head to the library to renew myself after high levels of stupidity exposure(it's like radiation to me).

I'm passing my classes with As and high Bs, so there is nothing to complain about other than the students.

If you are exposed to stupidity, remember that your school library durring class is always a good place to cleanse yourself.

I'm entering high school in around 3 months.

I'm kind of nervous about it, seeing as I hate schoolwork/homework (I'm lazy that way), but I'm also excited, seeing as I'm starting a new chapter of my life.

I like my middle school, but high school will be fun if I make it fun.

Don't worry Bunneh, high school is great if you make it! You get 10x the homework and the rules are more strict, but you get more freedoms. I recommend you take lots of sports and easy classes to make your freshman year amazin'. I may be back. :P

I plan on taking sports, but my parents really want me to get a good education, so I'm taking all the "harder" classes my freshman year. D:

It's not going to be easy.

don't be nervous about it. If you are a social person, then you will make friends pretty quickly. If you aren't, then the friend-making will take longer, but they will have more in common with you and you won't have to worry about your friends doing anything that would damage your reputation.

Just remember, seniors are morons, juniors are A-holes, sophomores are indifferent, and freshmen are annoying.

Close. It's more of, 99% of people in highschool are morons, with Seniors specializing in laziness, Juniors in screwing around, Sophmores in sucking up to upper classmen, and Freshmen getting in trouble.

Wow, it sounds like you have it down to an equation. very precise, and you actually nailed how it is in my high school.

Well after 4 years of constant criticization of the public school system and experiencing/observing it first hand, i'd be quite saddened if I was way off the mark...

Well I've been in a new town for 8 months and high school, have not made one friend.
High School is for people who's minds can't go farther than their own town or time period
Its for idiots.

Yep, you just hit the million dollar bullseye right there. I can't offer any advice, other than keep your head down, and try to make at least one good friend. If you do that, then the good parts of highschool will make itself known to you.

This I can't agree with you as much on. If you have a girlfriend, here are the rules:

1. whatever she likes, you now like as well.
2. if she says spend more time with her, you'd better do it.
3. if she wants to rush things, tell her to slow down. I guarantee you that chicks dig a mature young man who has his urges in check.

I can agree on all of that but the 1st one, I will never give up my 50's rock and roll and 30's and 20's Jazz for some screamo crap or mainstream garbage, or like crappy 90s cars over a good muscle car or classic car lol
