Everything you can imagine might be unreal, as well as time.
However, Time is usually seen as the 4th dimension, which makes it just as basic as the metric system. we use seconds and minutes and hours and days and year to describe it, like we use centimeters and millimeters to describe length.
We probley have the wrong time I mean although we have good sicence the Earth probley is longer than 24 Hours a Day and maybe Night is Day and Day is Night, because who ever made time had to be exact and what would the odds of that?

Seriously: WTF? Day is day because it is a definition. And so is night. And the definition of an hour was 1/24 of a day (which is a very inaccurate definition).
With the definitions of nowadays a day is about 23h 56min 4s.
i thought a real day was longer than 24 hours? and that's why we have leap year?
No, a day is 24 hours, but a year is approximately 365 1/4 days. Over the course of four years, the fractions are compiled into one extra day, hence a leap year
Time is often referred to as the fourth dimension. But what is a dimension exactly? A dimension is like a line, with infinite points, each time you add a dimension, you multiply that by infinity again, as every existing point is stretched to an infinite line.
The first dimension is a line. Total points = Infinity (x) The second is a square. Total points = Infinity^2 (x,y) The third is a box. Total points = Infinity^3 (x,y,z)
You could keep this pattern going, stretching each point infinitely into its own line, so the fourth dimension has Infinity^4 points. (x,y,z,t)
Theoretically, you could do the reverse, compacting these lines into a single point. Total Points = Infinity^0 This would be the 0th dimension.

The length of a sidereal day (360°-rotation of the earth) is 23h 56min 4s. The length of a solar day (interval between two successive returns of the Sun to the local meridian) varies but is in the middle 24h.
The leap year is because a year is about 365.25 (solar) days.
