This is basically the same game as the one that has been running for quite a while, but it will be all official material, no house rules or non-rulebook sources of any kind, and I may enforce mandatory characters if things get too far out of hand (TRF has said that things were getting carried away in the other game). I also want chracter and OOC dialouge to be better managed, in other words don't fill this game up with a bunch of meaningless chatter (If all you want to do is talk about something, do it in the other game). New players are always welcome, and in fact encouraged, even if you don't own any of the books or know any of the rules. If any new players want to join, see the other game for rules, give me a race and class, and I will take care of the rest. As soon as at least 4 characters are made, this game will begin. The module I am using is a DCC, known as "The Black Pearl" (and I don't mean the ship from Pirates of the Caribbean)

I just really dont understand ANY of it. I get the basic, you make your sheet, your in a party with a certian alingment and you travel around on a quest or just doing your thing. I just dont understand the charecter sheet. I get that you put a race, and your age, and your name. And then your class, and then you add your equipment form the class, and your feats and skills from all your other stuff. But i dont get all the technacil stuff.

DarthNerd (awesome name btw...), do you know the races and classes? if not, check the other game. Either way, if you give me a class and race, I will make the character for you, and then all you need to really do is post what your character is doing. I also keep track of all characters.
DBS, Bard is my favorite choice, go for it! btw, Bards CAN heal at later levels, they know all the cure spells.

Does anyone else have questions or am I missing anythnig?

Like I said I am only doing bard on a trial basis to see if I like it, just not sure what race to play, also it kinda screws with the party alignment since I have to be chaotic.

Ok, then i would like to be a half human half elf(halfing?) cleric, and i also want to know, once we are a class, warrior for an example, as we play, can that warrior turn into a paladian? Or do our clases just never evolve?

I suggest human, DBLACKSTAR, because who would see something like an orc playing his lute? But hey, i dont know anything, its just a cosmetic prefernce in my opinion

That would be multi-classing and unless one of the classes if the favored class of your race you will take a penalty to experience.

DarthNerd, you can multiclass, which means you could be both a paladin and a warrior(but that's an npc class), and it's just Half-Elf.

DBS, you know my recommendation is always the same; Mongrelfolk, otherwise Half-Elf, or something with a bonus to Charisma.

btw, what is the vote for a aquatic campaign?

As in, playing the game on a ship and over the ocean? NAY! MY VOTE IS NAY!
