So, this is a side project I shall be working on. I was somewhat inspired by MoonFairy's and Tacky's thread Adventures of AG: A State of Emegency, and a desire to use my own thread, The Deck of Games, for something a little more creative. The basic premise is the same I'll need you, the users, to create a short character sheet. There are restrictions though:

1. You must be in The Deck of Games
2. The character sheet must be filled out correctly
3. Weapons cannot be modern and must be fantasy related (Swords, bows, magic, ect)

If you would like to be in The Deck of Games, see this and comment on which possition you would like. Also, please provide a good reason as to why, I shall not accept reasons like: because I am like, good!

Now, the character sheet.I will use my personal one as the example you MUST follow.

Name: Wolf
House: High House Tragedy
Position: King
Weapon:Hand and a half Sword
Bio: A wanderer of far off lands and a master of the sword, Wolf has lost all that he once held dear. Posed as the King of High House Tragedy he has degenerated into a cynical and bitter man, infected by sadness.
Description: Wolf has shoulder length dark brown hair. He is of average height and build, having mostly wirey muscle. He only possesses his right hand having lost his left in a duel years ago.

If I have time, I may create pictures of the cards based on your descriptions of your characters. Well, I can't draw, so I may ask someone else XD

So, I tried.
It didn't go very well as you can see, and while I am stubborn and can work through pain, I am only that stubborn...
Wasn't exactly what I had thought of, but after working with the throne for a good fifteen minutes, I decided to try that out instead.
Might redo, might let you do it yourself, Wolf.

And I would participate, but I think you will have more fun otherwise, anyway.

Name: Holladay
House: High House Games
Position: War hero
Weapon:Heavy 2-handed blade, Composite bow and metal gauntlets
Bio: Holladay, a Epic war hero he has fought along with Spartans, Persians and Romans. The reason he is still alive is because on one of his adventures he sailed to the unkown part of the map and was the first person to actually find the fountain of youth but, it was not written. He has trained with general and has fought in the arenas.
Description: He has the regular steel armor that a knight would have but, he doesn't use the helmet, he has long, spiky hair with green eyes. He also, has a purple fire-proof cape along with tanned skin.

Better???

No, because you have yet to justify why you are suited for that position on the Deck of Games Thread. Did you not READ?

Yes I did. It's in the OP. You should have clicked the link. Why do you think the link is there? I even say click the link and tell me what position you want if you're not already included!

And here we go again...

Wolf lay on his back starring at the ceiling as dawn crept over the horrizon. Watching the light slowly flow across the room he rose from his bed.

He crossed to the desk as he had hours previously. He flipped his card face-up. He stared at it for a moment before reaching for the Deck. He sat. In the hours that he had lain on his bed in a fruitless attempt at sleep he had come to a decision. It was better to be informed than to live in ignorance. The reading he had feared to attempt last night would be attempted now, in the dawn's light. Closing his eyes he reached for the next card, placing it face down. In rapid succession he placed the next to cards, he went to reach for the fifth, but his hand moved to the table, flipping the three cards face up, one after the other. Then he placed the last card, face up.

Opening his eyes he looked at what he had drawn. The five cards on the desk were placed in a crucifix, with his card at the center. At the head of the cross was The Writer of High House Art. He grimaced. The cloaked figure idicated that a tale would be told, and told far and wide. On the right arm sat the Queen of High House Counting Time. Looking left he saw the Queen of High House Games. Pinned between royalty he thought bitterly. The Queen of Counting Time was placed closer to his card than that of the Queen of Games, an idication that the Queen of Games sat aloof, but still involved. Drawing his eyes down, he looked at the last card, the one he had cast face up. Fool of High House Tragedy. He paled. The Fool indicated tragedy of a most bitter irony, something he did not relish to experience again. And there he was, pinned to the center of the crucifix like an accusation.

He swept the cards aside and listened to them clatter to the floor. Holding his head between the stump of his wrist and his hand he gazed at the oak desk blankly. Five cards he thought, Five cards and already a brutal pattern unfolding. What if I were to cast more? What could I see? Should I even try to? What if- his thoughts were interrupted by a knock on his door. "Enter," he croaked, his voice hoarse. In stepped one of his serving girls, Frena. For a moment he face showed shock, clearly not expecting to see him in a state, he could only imagine how he appeared to her, but only for a moment. She recovered he composure and spoke, "M'Lord, you have a visitor."

He sighed, shaking his head to clear it, "Who?"

"A strange little creature. Glittery wings and all tan, and wearing leather leggings and some strange silk shirt." Frena said, wringing her hands.

"Gods be good..." cursing under his breath, "Show her in Frena."

"Yes m'Lord," she left.

Moments later a softer knock on his door announced the arrival of his unexpected guest. He had just finished slashing water on his face, "It's open." The door opened and in flitted Moon on gossamer like wings. Landing lightly she looked around the room. "This is where you've been hiding?" she snapped. Wolf shrugged. Her eyes flashed a startling violet and she regarded him. "It's good to see you to Moon," he said, smiling crookedly, "Or is it Your Majesty?"

Her tanned skin flushed, "Don't start with that Wolf. Do you even realize how long it took me to find this...place?"

"You mean Nighstone Keep?"

"This tower has a name?!"

"Of course it has a name Moon. But, I doubt you came all this way to upbraid an old friend." She scowled at that. Eyes darting around the room they fell upon the cards that were scattered on the floor. She walked over and picked one up. "Still playing with your cards Wolf?" she mocked. Now it was his turn to scowl. He picked the card out of her hand and looked at it; her card, Queen of Counting Time.

"So, again Moon, what do you want?"

Her eyes faded to a deep blue that reminded him of a storm wracked sea. "You."

That took him aback, "Me? What the hell do you want me for?"

"Not just me, I'm just the messenger. I was just sent to retieve you."

"I'm not leaving Moon. I told you that years ago. Remember? I said I was finding a quiet place to work, to think, and to remove myself from things. Well, I found it. Here, right here, Nightstone."

"Wolf...you have to."

"Give me one good reason I of all people need to move from where I am. There is a reason I'm the King of Tragedy, Moon. Where I go, death and misery follow."

She twitched her wing nervously. Her eyes flicked from blue to grey in aggitation. "There's been whispers of something called The Night Road. No one knows what it is exactly, but since you were always the scholar..."

He cut her off, "Who sent you?"

"Tacky, and a few others, I don't really want to name everyone."

He cursed, "I'm no hero Moon."

She grinned weakly, "Trust me Wolf, if I wanted a hero I wouldn't be asking you."

He cursed again.

At anyone who is willing to look, Wolf says that you can be in the story, without having to be in the Deck of Games at this moment. You can do a little try out of sorts for the spot.
If you need a list of the spots open, go to the link provided in the OP, it has them all there. Pick one you want, a double or an empty one, and tell him why you think you deserve that spot, or why you want it. Or both

Mkay? Mkay.

Now onto this update, I, for one, enjoyed it. You got the bitter me down perfectly, if I do say so myself, and I do, because it is moi. Mwahahahahahahahahaha.

ANYWAYS.

I do believe, Wolf, you don't have a certain update time for this, so I'm asking if there is one.

Excellente.
I can't wait for the next section.
Would it be a good idea to include a Strength and Weakness section in the template? I was just wondering. :b

So this Deck of Games that Wolf possesses is, in essence, a non-fraudulent Tarot Card type thing, except instead of events and symbols, it's actual people and the prediction of the event is in the placement of the cards itself?
Cho-un(I tire of saying things in German, French, Spanish, and Latin).

I'm assuming this refers to those little half-moon type glasses with the red frames?

That pretty much sums it up.
