There have been a lot of questions about how you would live in this threadd. Now of course the creator of this thread should clear this up but until he does I will try to help to keep this topic moving.
My definition of Immortality-To live forever without growing old or becoming aged in any way. No mortal creature nor device can kill or destroy you. You will never die from anything.
Again the creator of this thread which I have no idea who he is and is too lazy to look up should clear this topics questions up.
Forgive and forget everyone who died, and do some pretty awsome stuff.
Iv always wanted to jump off of the empire state building, land on someones parked car right when they are about to open the door, get up, and say hello!
BUT, i would only accept it if i could choose to instantly die the second i wanted to.
kay theres a number of things wrong with living forever, il name my worst fears of that.
man ponders what the meaning to life is, what happens after death, if theres really is a meaning to life beforehand, and so on. Death is somwhat a release from our lives, a gateway to a better place namely heaven, or what ever your belief of heaven is, so if you had eternal life what would you do with it? life would be useless and if you still aged your body would be frail and rag-doll-ish, bed ridding you for eternity. pain would be infinate and there would be no release.
I'll use the death of others as one of the many reasons why not. You'll have to see everyone die. It will just be an endless cycle. You'll become friends with someone, be with them through their life, but in the end you know they're going to die and you won't. I only want to live as long as everyone else does. If everyone lived forever, then sure, that's cool. As long as I don't have to be bed ridden for most the time.
Yep. Life is good, and death is only fair payment. I would live forever simply for science. If I learned things 500 years ago that we didn't know today I would tell them. Or not. Or I could use it as leverage to get whatever I want.
